At United Alabaster, we have spent decades turning alabaster into a language of light, design and emotion. We’ve shared our vision with interior designers, architects and creatives around the world — and today, we take an exciting new step on our journey: the opening of our showroom in Switzerland.
On 1st November, we will open the doors to this new space at Langackerstrasse 11, Cham, created in collaboration with a designer we truly admire: Judith Schleicher.
More than a showroom, this space is an invitation — a statement of intent. A place where alabaster takes centre stage, where every luminaire breathes, floats and interacts with noble materials, immersive textures and a unique aesthetic: Judith’s. An inspiring, sophisticated, and soulful environment.
A collaboration born from mutual admiration
The encounter between Judith Schleicher and United Alabaster was anything but coincidental — it was natural. From the very beginning, we shared a common sensibility: a deep respect for materials, a love for craftsmanship, and a pursuit of beauty that goes beyond the surface.
Judith describes her style as one of refined elegance and strong character. Earthy tones ranging from light to dark, warm textures, bold lines, balanced contrasts, and an atmosphere that breathes serenity and sophistication. Her design vision is powerful, distinctive, and emotional all at once. A world where alabaster finds its perfect home.

This showroom is not just a product display. It is a natural extension of our universe. A space carefully curated to showcase our luminaires at their finest: suspended in air, interacting with marble tables, metallic structures, and oak, ebony or walnut woods… illuminating textures, suggesting atmospheres, and evoking emotion.
A showroom designed to inspire
The new space in Cham (Switzerland) reflects everything we believe in: timeless elegance, a deep sensitivity to light, refined quality and an enduring love for detail. Every corner exudes a balance between strength and subtlety. Our alabaster luminaires seem to float above noble surfaces, creating sensorial compositions that invite you to imagine how they might integrate into a living room, boutique hotel, contemporary restaurant or art gallery.
This showroom is, in itself, a luxury interior design project. From the colour palette and furniture selection to the finishes and materials, every element responds to a unified concept in which light plays a central role. And in that dialogue between materials and luminaires, alabaster comes to life.
